Tourney touches with BLHS
Any players interested in a couple local summer tournaments?. Bonney Lake is looking for some players to complete their roster. Since we are not going to these tournaments this is a great chance if you want to get some stick touches and tourney game experience.
See below for information sent from BLHS
Please feel free to forward this to all your players. The BLHS Lacrosse team has openings for players, from other schools, to play in Summer tournaments with us. The attached registration form is to be filled out and fees paid at Sumner Parks & Recreation office (there is no online payment). The message below is for the tournament coming up next weekend. I am aiming for a 22 man roster but will allow for a liitle bit more room if needed. I hope you have some players willing to join us and have fun competing in some great games.

Chance to improve
For all lacrosse players. We just received word on this training opportunity from Chris Gibson. It would be great if a group of you guys could attend. We would hope to come away with some good info to incorporate into our offseason workouts. If you have free time this coming Friday get up to the school and check it out.
Coaches: As you know by now, the APX strength program has been implemented into our PE curriculum and after school workouts for our athletic programs and any students interested.
On Friday, June 17 from 9am-Noon all of our athletes and coaches have the chance to experience, view and learn about their program. I feel this is an outstanding opportunity for our programs and our kids.
The June 17 session will be free of charge as APX wants you to come in and see firsthand how this program will benefit our student athletes.
Please pass the word and promote the attendance of your kids at this event.
I will see you on the 17th. We will meet in the main gym at 9:00am. Let me know if you have any questions.
Summer is here
Congratulations to all our seniors (17 of em) on a great season and graduation ceremonies last Friday. All of us at Hornet Lacrosse wish you well in your future endeavors.
As an opportunity for the 2017 team to keep sticks in hand, starting next week we have the WRHS turf field reserved on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month through summer. This includes incoming freshman and any guys you think might want to give lacrosse a try.
Field time as follows
June 15th 6 to 9 pm
July 6th and 20th 6 to 9 pm
August 3rd and 17th 6 to 9 pm
We realize summer is busy with vacations, club lacrosse and prep for the upcoming football season. This field time is not mandatory but a chance for us to see what the team will look like next year. There was a lot of interest at the end of the season to have opportunities to keep sticks in the hands of our players. Hope to see some good turnouts.
Have a great summer
